A Number
u know. i think the build book is talking about the 2.2L.... it shows a LS on the 250hp part and it says to add a supercharger. cant be the 2.0L.... i think the 2.0 can hold up to 350 from my understanding
CONNECTING RODS
We recommend that the connecting rods be upgraded
because stock rods are not designed for power levels over
250 hp.
The 2.0L LSJ ECOTEC engine has forged steel rods similar
to Small Block Chevy “Pink Rod.” The forged steel rods are
made of high quality material and have a cap screw 23 mm
small end, and a full floating bronze bushing. These rods are
available through GM under part number 12755126. These
rods require GM Performance Parts piston set part number
88958634 to work with the stock 2.2L crankshaft.

I was treated to another email with 3 nice attachments, 1 parts list I even have parts GM started to develope and stopped work on. I can tell the parts GM will put out as far as 2007 and I also signed a very long NDA to get this.
Now im waiting on my gift from GM performance division to arrive.
Yes I am teasing the hell out of you guys
I would give you my sisters phone number to call her but I think shed get bombarded with calls.
Ok I just got off the phone with my dealer. He talked to the parts guy and he just got back to me. Now i didnt give him the part number but i did say "Find out about the Stage2 Kit for me". He said that he could have it in Feb for me but that the dealer cost is around $1800 and retail cost is about $2200 again i didnt give him a part number or anything but thats what he got back to me with. Maybe there is something else going on or some other kits. But that's what he said for my 2006 Cobalt SS/SC
---Edit----
Just got off the phone with them again.
This kit they are talking about comes with MORE stuff then was was listed. Front and rear stuts, bigger intercolor and some other techie stuff. He was talking real fast

Everyone just needs to wait until they come out. Then you will know what is included and exactly how much. Until then can we please stop beating the dead "Stage 2" horse. You will have your parts when they are available and we will all post dyno numbers when they are installed. No more guessing and asking uneducated people what these kits will do for you! or when it will be coming out or how much it will cost.

I can't wait any longer
