o2 sensor/ zzp downpipe

my o2 sensor on my 3" downpipe i installed last night hit the heat shield, rubbed a whole in it, and it rattles horribly. is there any fix to this? do they sell shorter sensors or what can i use to temporarily plug the 02 bung

this is what i used it works great but i dont have a 3" i have a 2.5"
you screw it in and the o2 sensor will run parallel to your down pipe

Can't you push the heat shield out of the way? Any time I've ever had a clearance problem there, the heat shield easily pushed away enough to avoid contact.

or just take the heat shield off lol..

i just installed my montrosity off ZZP crap yesterday (header and dp). i just beat the heat shield back a lil bit with a hammer so it didnt rub in the one spot. (i stress CRAP)

tried that but the sensor wore a whole through the heat shield and was rubbing on the body of the car. so i might try that 90 or just plug it until emissions.
