What are the problems with the pacesetter? I am with the others as far as hearing negative things about it. The only negative thing if you see it that way is it is not a direct bolt on but that does not mean the header does not perform. The custom fitment does not bother me.

How loud is it? I don't mind a little more noise but this is my daily driver, I don't want it drowning me in noise. I don't want a ticket for it either because it is loud. How well is it holding up IE any problems with it cracking ect...

It's actually pretty loud to be honest. Here is a sound clip hours after install.
It's louder now that it's broken in.

pacesetter is gonna fit and be as good as you make it , it requires welding and cutting so if you cant cut and weld your gonna have problems but if you can cut and weld well then its a great deal of a header

Thanks for posting the sound clip. I'm also looking for the Cobalt Addiction header if anyone has a sound bite of that or feedback on in-cab noise.

Damn Tony, maybe you should do one for the intakes too! I have yet to see my intake get up on either of the two "Official" threads. I think it's a great idea that you're making a new Header one...

i wonder how long till the price comes down, i paid 450.00 for my pacesetter longtubes on my Camaro SS ceramicoated and all, and 500 for my jett hott long tubes on my Z28, and thats 2 headers, 1 3/4 primaries to a 3 inch collector. i think 600 for a single header is just outrageous.

The pacesetter header is only around $200 and maybe $300 for the ceramic coated.

Both are a waste of money and don't deserve to be on this list. Best bang for the buck header is the ZZP 1 3/4th header with a 3" downpipe.
