Ebay IMO. I feel you dont need a real expensive one. Most on ebay are 25-35 shipped. I went and bought a breather filter and put it on there too.

I believe the reason you couldn't find the How To for this is because Anolomous (sp?) wrote one up but then got pissed at the forums and he probably deleted the thread.

that looks like a good catch can to get king. is it better to pay more for that or should i just go to home depot and get that husky one? how did you bolt down your ebay one? it comes with an attachment part it looks like. use that and drill into something and bolt it?im assuming too that you are all new tubing right? they sell tube-tube connection right? so i can go from the engine --> filter attached by the top motor mount --> to the stock tubing before it get all crazy and bending, i can get like an attachment to connect it before the bend, like right behind the engine (above the header)

heres my idea

the blue is the new tubing that ill put in. the red box is the ebay oil catch can. then the gold little box is where i can reconnect the new tubing back to the stock tubing. theres that little flap of metal with those 2 prongs by the passenger strut tower (people attach the option b there) where you can attach the catch can. im thinking this works well

^^^i would be uneasy about the heat from the header coming up from there krazy

So when these are connected, and the engine is running is there ny pressure in this line? Is there anything that I need to be aware of or not really? Just simply catches the oil

I'm wondering this because when it is installed, does the tubing have to be level acroos the engine bay or can it arc up a little. By the looks of the greddy one it arcs up, so am I going to have a problem with it sitting in the tubbing or running back to the valvue cover, etc? kinda why I was wondering if there is any pressure to move it along?

It's just air, running from the crankcase breather to your intake.

It has small amounts of oil in it, and that oil is not necceassrily good for your throttle body, sc, or motor. I don't think it has a ton of pressure behind it, but you should keep the lines as clean (short and simple) as possible. A little rise or fall in the line won't hurt.

Please correct if I am wrong!

couldn't find a pic of my set-up so I just used the previous pic:

just do the home depot version, it works perfectly. See that white circle above the inlet of the SC, there's enough space to put it on the hose there and it will hang down and not touch anything....and it'll be away from the exhaust manifold.

im still debating wether to get the ebay catch can or the small husky one from home depot. i know i get a lot of oil coming through there. i just cleaned my tb two weeks ago and i already see some more deposits in there. whats that little line of tubing that comes out of the bigger oil catch catch? does that show how much oil is in it? and we can mount it horizontally to get the same results right?
