should i be using the gm oil filter or a oil filter just for synthetic oil

 

Never heard of that.

 

I suggest you stick with the AC Delco filter. I've never had a problem with them crushing or anything like that. Have you ever seen a fram filter after it's been in the car for 4000 miles...it looks like a crumbled up paper towel.
