haha he tuned you? he's a good guy I spoke with him on saturday and he gave me some recommendations prior to doing the tune..

heat exchange and dual pass endplate to help keep the iat's down

hopefully all will go well with the swap and the tune will help prevent future issues

Unfortunately.... zrated89 is in a situation of "sooo many women.... so little time"... and has his priorities.... From the old fart retrospect, that is a good thing!

Tom, he is in Newport News, VA. Maybe one of these days when he's not working, he'll get out of bed(s) and get **** done to his car!

Seriously, there have been a few of us chatting about a VA meet this year.

update tore the engine apart and sure enough the wall is scratched and the piston has a hole...if you look at the photo in the top right corner you will see it...

i'm still grinding my mind over why the spark plug blew out in the first place to break off the end and for it to fall in the cylinder...anyone out there know why this might have happened to help from having it happen in the future?

Thanks

should have my car back tomorrow with a new engine and the right spark plugs only 1 step colder instead of the unnessacary 2 step...

it looks like the piston was starting to melt from an over rich detonating condition

yeah I always had a rich code popping up on the check engine light...but also keep in mind that I had a spark plug blow out and the electrode and the tip of the spark plug were lost in the cylinder which caused the sratches on the cylinder wall
