option B

i dont know if this is the right place to post this but i was wondering if the option b is the same as a overflow off of the cobalts and if u could just go to a junk yard and buy a overflow off a cobalt or g6 what ever u have lol and then mount and plum it in to the intercooler all the pics i have seen look the same but i dont know lol so would it work

Option B reservoir is a Saturn Ion coolant reservoir - any one any year. This will point the hoses in the right directio, the Cobalt one does not...

thers no option a that i know of and an option b is a bigger tank like the resvior coolant tank for the engine but is for the supercharger it holds more coolant ther for helping the keep the intercooler cooler and keeping ur iat's lower

yeah u can run it the whole purpose of the opt b is to hold more coolant and is easer to bleed the air out of the system

ok, yeah cuz my meth tank is taking the space of the option b tank area. now for the dual pass, is it still useful to have without the option b?

option b is nothing more than a still water reservoir to ease in bleeding the inter cooler system of air.

Better off doing the hatrickstu flow thru modification or purchase a aluminum flow thru tank. It can be installed in the same location as the option b

yes a dual pass can be plumbed in easily on a stock intercooler unit w/o a option b or water reservoir.

and yes... it's one of the best units you can install in a our system without switching to a single pass.
