OTTP 4th Gen H/E

Is OTTP's 4th gen H/E out of stock or something? I was wanting to get this soon but on their website there is no 'Add to cart' option...

Yup out of stock. Wont be in till October last time i heard. Get the ZZP stage 3 heat exchanger for best bang for you're buck. Yes they are coming out with a griffin heat exchanger to go in place of stock but be prepared to pay for it...

Lol what other site are you talking about? i know there are a few other cobalt forums but ive never really looked into joining them too lol

600 I liked the 190-230ish price for the ZZP or OTTP, while the Griffin will be amazing i wouldve been satisfied with the results from the cheaper route lol

Oh i don't doubt it's gonna be an amazing product. But it's also going to be almost triple the price. I have a tough time spending that much on a heat exchanger. Might as well just go turbo lol

people spend 600 on meth, h/e, dual pass, option b. when you could buy one thing. and have the same cooling effects.

I spent $600 on all 4 and see 120-130* after a pull and am running 25* of timing with no knock. The heat exchanger will not do that. Keep it cool, yes. Add as much performance, definatly not

Like i said, will it keep temps cool, absolutley. But you aren't going to be running more timing with a heat exchanger like you will with meth. Run the griffin heat exchanger with meth... Then you got a deadly combo haha. But it would be damn expensive

i don't hink you understand lol. meth is not needed with this setup. 6 BACK TO BACK pulls on the dyno. tvs, aggresive timing, highest numbers on the LAST pull. his setup probably out performed my ottp dual pass version h/e +meth setup.

I understand. Guess i'll have to see it in action. For a heat exchanger to replace meth would be pretty cool. Cant wait

meth dosent cool the intake charge it just adds octane to be able to run more timing if you mix water in with the meth then the water will cool the intake charge

get a cheap heat exchanger then spend $50-$75 to get it coated with thermal dispersant and it will outperform any expensive exchanger of similar dimensions.

no doubt involved. if you've used the stuff before, you wouldn't say that
