OTTP stage 1 vs GMSTG2
rydis if u need info from a member that has the ott kit feel free to hit me up tuesday if u have not found a person by that time. ill have it on and all and will tell u how had it was to install and how much diff the car is and how it runs and all.
Would you buy a POS Chinese made tire because I recommend it, even though I have never used it? It has nothing to do with age. Let the members who have used the OTT kit speak for it. There seems to be plenty of them.
ive also never even came close to redline. I dont race, I just want overall better performance as my DD car. So im still considering if I should bother staging. Actually ive never pased 4k RPMs except on a missed gear haha
This stuff is common knowledge. That is if you research these cars as much as i do
Thats not a n00b response at all

ill do that. Its not really the how to do it that worries me, but the fact ill mess up something simple and ending up paying a fortune to fix it.

plus i have a few srts to leave in the dust around here when im ready.
i got the ottp stage 1 and i got a new ecu with it. so if anything every goes wrong with the car all i have to do is change everything back to stock and take it in for warranty. so if your worried about warranty just get a new ecu from them and wham bam call it a day ....

I suggest you be here more than 3 days before calling me out
If you know anything about these cars you know their kit is the way to go, Not even because of OTT, Take away the fact OTT is a great company and you still have the best upgrade path you can do put together in 1 kit
So just tell ottp that you want a tune that's more conservative and not geared towards sucking the most power out of it that you can, get a wideband, interceptor, keep an eye on things, and you'll be golden.
I'll break it down for you.
GMS2 = 42.5's 3.?? pulley, and tune that varies between flashes (after seeing different st2 dynos idk wtf's going on).
OTTP = 60's, 2.8, tune by people who know their stuff as far as im concerned.
OTTP gives you the 60's which means you have more chance to grow with other supporting mods, whereas the GMS2 gives you the 42's so once again, you'll have to later upgrade to 60's or bigger if you want more power. that said, i'll be getting an ottp tune once i get all my other mods in place.

The biggest advantage is what was posted above. Convert ur fuel system to returnless, and run a nice big turbo, or a bigger SC.
