Exclamation P 1208???

I got my car scanned at autozone and if i remeber clearly it was P1028. i threw 2 codes. It said coolant level Below Thermistat twice. The guy said i would need a new thermistat. and the other was a Cold ? Sensor. I dont remeber what its called. But i called Saturn and they want $280.00 for the thermistat installed and $75 for the sensor installed. Has any one had this problem?
Car runs fine, but coolant dosent get any higher than 135 Degrees.

wish i could help p1208 isn't in my manual, sorry, i see p1258 and thats an engine coolant over temp-fuel disabled, this is pretty self explanatory. It does sound like a temp sensor is messed up cause of the low coolant temp, but i'd make sure all fluids are filled in the reservoir tank and radiator just in case (i'm sure you've probably already done this).

$280 for a thermostat seems kind of expensive. Don't know how to help you there, i'd get another quote from another dealer to make sure they're not screwing you.

its doesnt mean your running rich, the car is still in closed loop so the computer can adjust the fuel. the only time you might run rich is under wot and that depends upon your tune and how cold your car is running. people get this idea from back in the day, it doesnt really apply to newer cars.
