Going on friends experiences who used that exhaust on their cars, i'd reccomend choosing another exhaust. My friends had issues with rusting and the finish on the tip flaking off. The Pacesetter is cheap for a reason. And in my personal opinion, I don't really think it looks all that great either. Thats just my opinion.

Its painted mild steel with a Chrome plated tip. I've always hated chrome. It WILL rust ALOT faster than your stock Stainless exhaust. Remember you pay for what you get. The Megan racing exhaust comes from a cheap eGay knock off company of Mugen racing. Its stainless at least but I still wouldn't trust it. If you want really good quality go with Corsa, Hahn, Borla or GMPP.

yeah i got the header and it was faulty so i sent it back and got the money back for it the header its self had a leak you could not hear the cat back at all!!
Bottom line is that if it is not a Ferrarri that it is not a good product form my point of view

i have the pacesetter on my 2.2 and love it, The only problem (if you call it that) is its by far the loudest bolt on cat-bak.

i had mine on for over a year, and ZERO signs of rust. not a spec. looked better than my stainless parts. so, where are you getting this info again, or is this just what you heard somewhere?

I love mine it sound crappy at first ,but when it breaks in, it sound great. I compare the sound to the corsa exhaust on a ss/sc sound the same, but have heard it sounds better than gmpp.

I was going to get the Pacesetter exhaust, because yes it is cheap in price. But after I heard sound clips of it, and saw a video of it...I quickly changed my mind..IMO it sounded like complete ass...I quickly went over and got me the GMMP sport..which is way better than the pacesetter.

Everyone knocks pacesetter. Yea their products are not up to par with others, but for the price it can't be beat. I will be doing pacesetter headers on my Camaro shortly. Best bang for the buck. Not everyone can afford stainless.

If you use the correct break-in method, the header shouldnt flake, then the header shouldnt rust. If your worried about it rusting then get high heat anti-rust paint. Let it cure and do the break-in process for the header. For the price I would go pacesetter.

A buddy and I installed one on his SS/SC and it had no fitment issues at all.

pacesetter sucks... i have the exhaust and header.

header is always leaking and i cant find a way to fix it

exhaust is to long with the header. had to shorten it, and its to raspy

well, the pacesetter headers are not a direct fit, There not made to be, there just made for the ecotec, But the cat-bak fits perfect.

I have there exhaust too and its raspy because of no resonator, thats partly why it is cheaper. I hate 4 cylinder sound in the first place y pay 600+ for an exhaust system that is always going to sound like **** to me? I think my exhaust sound bettter than most of them out there for the SS/SC anyway!

i think for the extra $100 or $150, the megan is a much better product that gives the ability to tone it down if wanted.
