yeah the lsj has bigger primarys 1 3/4 compared to 1.58 primarys for the ls. You want the lsj version for sure. You could also look at a badmab header as those have been getting great reviews.

1.5" on the 2.2/2.4L (LS in reference here) not 1.58"

1 3/4 is correct on the LSJ

It is black paint only, the "cheap" pacesetter version. You have to get the Pacesetter "Ceramic Armor coat" version, and you will be all set. Ceramic coat keeps the under the hood heat down, and looks very nice also!

Black paint is for shipping purposes only, and will burn off.

^ this. i just got the regular one anyways cheaper and does the same thing.
and for the dude who called it junk, that must be why 99% of the high hp balts have the pacesetter. must be why zzp's headers resemble the same design. morons.

Pacesetter is the best bang for the buck when it comes to HP increase on a header.

Yup no doubt, everyone wants to be stuck in the past and be in the dark though and buy shorty headers lmao.

Direct fitment shorty headers are not much if any better than a honed/ported stock manifold. Looks better, but that is about it.

Mid/long tube Pacesetter header kits is a good choice

You say this but people praise the zzp midlength when it is the exact same thing except no ball flange. I got my pacesetter setup done for less than $250 and works great. And until I see dyno results on the OTTP and ZZP longtubes pacesetter has been proven to perform Area proved this time and time again with his balt. So don't post with no explanation and unless you are revving to 9k a shorty is not going to be better than a midlength

only need a coating if you want it to look good, i could care less, more interested in power, as for the heat, no more heat than the factory manifold

im suprized nobody on this forum really goes with long tube headers. everyone goes with the shorty which is almost useless. long tubes or gtfo. mid length is ok too i guess.

they make it for the 07, but it can't have SAI on it, SAI cars are mostly from cali, for emissions, mines an 07 and i got the header that you want on my car, pics at the top, more than likely you dont have sai unless your from cali. If you have sai, there will be a half in diameter hose coming off the top of your exhaust mainifold, no hose, your good

lot more invlolved than that, sai systems have an air pump, and it connects to the air filter box too, its really a mess, good thing it was only on cali cars
