PCM Under cover

I plan on getting gm stage 2 in a month or two and I hate that the rev limiter is droped to 6500 instead of 7000 which is not the case for everyone but i can be one of the unlucky. Now the real question is can I adjust the rev limiter to 7000 with out my warranty being voided? ZZP states that their tuned pcm cant be detected by gm and will keep it's warranty. I need some insight because this 6500 rpm is bugging me!

there pcm cant be detected because it is another pcm, not your original one. So if you went in for warranty, you just switch out your ecu.

No, the dealers can tell if a pcm has been flashed. If they decided to take a look, they will noticed and void warrenty.

Even if I just take a hp tuner and raise the limiter? So I am pretty much stuck with 6500 if I get the new flash no way to sneak those extra 500 rpm's in?

I got it for 6 years just got the car a year ago. I plan on having it at least 2 years 3 at most.

I was going to void it but when I snaped my axle i was happy I had it.

I asked because if you have 7K there should be more of a chance of them giving me that flash. But I am not to excited for the drive.

it will only be your powertrain warranty! Remember, your tune still has nothing to do with your brakes, interior, body, ECT.

The law states: Effected part has to be caused by questionable part, ie: tune.

So if your door falls off, they can't deny your warranty because of the tune!
