Performance Build time? Mahle Forged Pistons :)

Mahle just released pistons for the 2.0 ecotec motors. They are a forged piston 8.5:1 Compression Ratio. They are only offering it in 86 and 86.5 bore sizes. They include rings pistons and pins. They come with a phosphate coating and a skirt coating as well. Introduction price is $499.99 + Shipping. Any questions? Please feel free to contact us.

there are no HP numbers. these are forged pistons (stock are cast) with lower compression than we have stock. with no other modifications we would lose power, but these let us create more power without the risk of the stock pistons failing (which seems to be the weak part of the motor according to the build book)

the stock bore is 86mm i believe. look on the intense website for their forged pistons. they have a 10:1 or a 10.5:1 ratio. not sure which ones I will be going with. Ill probably do these because they are $200 cheaper than the ones on intense.

This would be a great option for someone wanting to go with higher boost. An example would be those guys switching to turbos and wanting to go above 20psi.
Our cylinder bore is 85.992 - 86.008 mm.

yea that is why i saved it.......going turbo since i blew my rings......im looking at going with a gt2871r..........only trying for 320-350 safely but trying 2 make up my mind if i want 2 go with 8.5:1 or 9.5:1............
