Get a header/dp combo unless you know what you are doing with hptuners or don't have a tuner around by you that knows what he's doin. You will feel a difference when you put the header/dp in.

one of my buddies is great with HPtuners and other tuning programs, he has a 09 Z06, and three Supras! he said he would play around with it for me..... plus intense screwed up my PCM so i think the HPtuners would help out alot...?

do you have tuning experience/know how to tune or a local tuner that needs the program to tune your car??? if not, then dont get hpt. go for the header/dp, you will feel a difference.

if you have a friend with it and he is willing to tune your car, pay him for the credits to unlock the cobalt (iirc its 2 credits so thats $100) and have him tune it for you.

read up a lot before you buy the program because if you don't you could either mess up your car, or you will be very frustrated and confused.

Hp tuners could save you money (and actuualy make you money) in the long run if you are willing to make the investment of your time to learn how it all works.

i know that that header/dp combo is a good deal, but im thinking that HPtuners is a good investment so that when i do get a header or some other upgrades i wont have to worry about it running wrong i can just "tune" it myself????

Tuning isn't needed till you get a pulley/injectors

Hahaha.... "ZZP dp combo" yeah if your looking for trouble. That piece is crap. I would rather run my balt with a moulded piece of tinfoil. BUY THE HPTUNERS, I just did and I have no idea how to use it but its going to be a great learing experience. I will not make ANY adjustments until I know 100% what I am doing but from what I hear it can be the best investment that money can buy. Why pawn your tunes off on people who know what they are doing when we are all capable of doing this sort of thing ourselves barring the time and patience involved but the end result could be great and the learning experience even better. Im willing to take the time to learn and Im happy doing so.
