plans for the end of the month!!!

1. 2.8 pulley and hub from smoothflowpulleys.com ($90)
2. 60# injectors and harness from ottperformance.com ($230)
3. custom 3" exhaust with 3" catless downpipe and moroso spiral flow muffler ($300)
4. weapon r secret weapon intake ($174..... pretty cheap price and i figure intakes will perform about the same)
5. custom tune from area 47

this is all because i got a nice size check from insurance after hitting a tire. i know there are other things as far as cooling but i figure this would be a good start. let me know what you think. maybe some suggestions.

yeah, and you're gonna get $174 worth of life and quality out of it too. they may "perform" the same. but there are definitely HUGE differences

Yes you need a tune. You will want to get cooling mods eventually.

Thats exactly what you need, Stock catback is 2.5 all the way back to the axle then 2.25, The axle back replaces the 2.225 with 2.5 and a magnaflow muffler.

And if you dont wanna wait for OTT, You could do the AEM which i cant see rubbing as much since it uses most of your stock intake, BUt if it was me i would just do the air box mod until OTT releases their intake which im think they said will be out in like a month

i have already purchased and installed the 3" catless dp..... i will be finishing the exhaust with a full 3" system. and i think i will be going with the AEM. all i will do is inspect it from time to time after install and if i find any points of contact i will get some adhesive pads or something so it will take less wear and tear. if anyone can think of a muffler that is good let me know and maybe post a part number.

Ah ok, Thought you meant you just wanted a muffler on the stock catback, For the muffler i would do,

(jegs part numbers)

642-14219 (3'' magnaflow)
545-87519 (3'' glasspack as resonator)

$150 for both.

Area will set you guys straight... he's a great tuner and tuned me for the same thing before I moved!

I'm sure your tunes will be based on my old maps, and you'll enjoy them!
