Please Help Asap!!!

ok i just got a call from the guy that has my car and he said that much crankshaft is blue like the metal is a bluer tent, and i have some gashes in the cyinder walls! do i need to replace all that?

blue means hot....u ever run it low on oil?

no not at all i have a 2.8 pulley with 60# injectors and no cooling mods.. is it alright to run that? or do i need a new crankshaft?

You might want to try a mechanic rather than an internet forum for bottom end advice.

You will need a new crank, sleeves, and possible rods because it sounds like you might have also ruined the big end. If you did any damage to the block, add that to the list.

yeah man, but from the sounds of it, you need a new motor. blue = heat which = bad. but from not seeing anything I creally can't judge that

how does that relate to ur cylider walls being gouged tho?? what gouged them??

Yes, thats the normal look for a factory crankshaft.

If you have any doubts, mic the crank and rod journals to see if they are within factory limits.

thats what they said it should look like glass like shinney lol.. but 3 or 4 of my pistons are cracked and chipped around the ringlands. but all those are getting replaced but i wasnt planing on replacing the crankshaft but if i have to i will but i dont think need to

ok good i was about to break down haha but thats good to hear no all i gotta worry about is the cylinder walls being fucked
