Please post your 2.9 Dyno #'s

Any dyno, any mods with a 2.9, there's only a couple on these forums. Everyone says its definitely a gain in the ass dyno but I want to see real numbers just to get an idea. If you have before and after thats perfect, if you just have after that will be fine. So many threads asking if its good and saying it is but no numbers

Alright, well if you do, definitely post up your numbers. I'm going to be getting one in a month or so and am curious to see what kind of actual gains they put down.

^^ I would go with a 2.9. Better safe than sorry.

I know no one has blown up from S2 with a 2.8 or 2.85 but I wouldnt take the chance.

Also, I am seeing 16+LBS WITHOUT my 2.9, is this normal or is my car a freak? lol

Was it cold out when you saw those numbers? With just an airbox mod and S2 i saw up to 16.5 psi, but mainly when it was chilly out (probably around 40 degrees when i saw it). If you have a stock exhaust it will be prone to showing higher boost readings. Changing out your exhaust can help relieve the pressure because now i see barely 15 psi w/ 2.9" Nate pulley.

Pinoypapii is someone who I know personally, has stage 2 and a 2.85...NO ONE has any stories of anything blowing up from a 2.85" pulley. He checked it out a lot before he put it on.

He recently saw 17psi in this cold weather.

i have a 2.9 and put one of them ksport dash displays from my freinds truck. now i dont really trust any thing that can be plugged into your ciggaret lighter and give information but that rat bastard was showing 235 h/p with my current mods, dont remember the torque, a bit lower i believe. . . not really reliable information from me but maybe itl give you an idea.

ohh by the way my bro has a non-g85 ss/sc with just an intake and i dominate him all day
