I am aiming for 300whp in the balt. Current mods injen, GM Exhaust, hurst Short Throw, interceptor, aem wideband. (I have 60#'ers sitting in my room) I have $2000. i dont care if its on stock blower or turbo or whatever. I do not want to spray nitrous, meth i dont mind. What shall i do? and this is purely based on $2000 so dont say save money and go tvs, or turbo etc.. input??

 

tvs u'll need a little more then 2g for a turbo kit

but i would save more for a turbo kit thats whats i'm going to start doing

you'll def need meth if youre going for 300hp, i would say get new cams and valves maybe even pistons, you can get quality sets for under 2k and you could have a friend at an engine shop (unless you're able to do it, don't know) install them for you. then just up the boost a little

 

But very few can tune like you, so I'd say the OP would need a 2.7.

well i dont wanna mess with that so maybe i'll find a speed shop to do it. but for noobs like me who are inexperienced u culd explain a lil better

 

look in the gm build books. there is flow numbers for the stock lsj head in there. power is easy to come by, it's keeping it together that becomes a problem

 

ya i have the GM build book sitting at home. i am throwing on a header/downpipe soon then the 2.8,60's and meth, then if i get the head ported on the exhaust side which a good tune what will i be looking at? and i know every car responds different

gat a tvs, skip the bs with cams or porting the head and make more than 330whp

 

thats a possibilitie but i dont want to have to wait save the $$ and then save $$ for supporting mods. tell ur bro to be a TVS vendor and cut me a hell of a deal

The head is a start, the intake manifold to. Let the engine use all that air that is trying to be crammed in it.

 

we are using stock blower as well altiery...tho we will be using nitrous/meth mix to put out ova 300 soon

 

the fail bus doesn't do miracles.
