so im 100% stock & my car has about 55,xxx miles on it & I've been hearing a weird sort of zinging sound coming out of the exhaust while I'm in cycling through 1st, 2nd & 3rd & when i rev it. I've just been wondering if thats normal or if i have a possible exhaust leak or whatever it is because its be irritating me. any help or info would be greatly appreciated!

Thats the sound of your car wishing it had a ZZP midlength header, catted dp and full 2.5" exhaust.

ok so i took it too the dealer cause i got so irritated with the noise & they call me back saying that the trans area is making a noise & they said its probably the clutch but i doubt it cause it works perfectly fine, or they said its the muffler....? & they also said both aren't covered in the warranty but last time i read mine it didn't say anything about a muffler not being covered. but idk how a muffler could make a rattling sound when I'm hearing it come from the engine.

**** gm, go to an exhaust shop and jack ur car up. most likely its the flex on your downpipe is leaking. is it kind of a pftpftpftpftpfptfptpfpt noise as u go along? if so most likely ur dp. which is covered by gm.

^ that's definitely your flex pipe. Especially if it's louder under acceleration. Just buy a zzp downpipe, or get header/downpipe combo. Not much more expensive than just repairing it

Dont forget the heat shields. They suck. I had mine tacked up to keep any buzz away from my exhuast.
