Probably a noob question...

Since I dont know too much about upgrading engines and such I was just wondering. When I get my stage 2 kit from GM, the service tech said that the kit comes with injectors, pulleys, belts, and a tune. I assume he means the reflashing, what exactly would this do for the engine? Also, after I get the stage 2 installed, I heard that I need to buy a different pulley and install it. Which pulley do I need? Where can I get it? Cost? Sorry guys for all the noob questions, I'm still learning about all this stuff....

your best bet is searching, the reflash allow the LSJ to control the larger injectors. And gives it some extra timing and a 7krpm. If you pulley it lower than 3 inches you can still make a great gain by using the HPTuners software. Stage 1 is a bit mediocre man, 700+$ for gm stage 2? Id rather buy injectors a wiring harness and a pulley. Then find an hptuner to reflash you. More power and less money.

Welcome to the site bdavis. If you are interested in the GM Stage kits I would suggest reading the GM Stage Kit FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) located at the top of this section.

Here ya go: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l-lsj-performance-tech-47/gm-stage-kits-faqs-read-me-first-16806/

It may seem like alot of info, but it will answer almost any questions you have.
