Driving earlier today my car all of the sudden lost power and died while I was going about 40 mph.
Started the car back up and it started to idle weird. RPM was bouncing from 700 to about 1500.
Let it sit for awhile, got it towed home. Started it up at home and it started find, no longer had the idling problem, and it drove around the block fine.

I'm getting the following code
System too Lean P0171

Any ideas what the problem could be? Anyone had this problem?
My buddy is saying it could be the MAF sensor.

 

number of things, seals bad, bad injectors, ect get some intake cleaner and start spraying aorund

could be maf need to check g/s and other things to check right

 

sounds like intake leak, check the couplers of your intake and MAF
