Procharger

im just wondering how many guys actually have their cars procharged? i saw some on youtube and deffently seems like it would be somthin different to do. if anyone here does have it done what did you have to do and also how hard is it?

from what I understand they work farely well speed mafia made kits for the 2.2 awhile back and I cant find anymore info on them.

it's easy to do.. i need a new bracket though.. the one i had just doesnt work for pulleys smaller then 2.95

so far there are me and a few other guys.. 2 2.2's i've done off the forums.. and then a few misc guys 1 ss/sc was procharged (i'm getting his old bracket to fix my issues lol)

I dont show speed mafia is still producing the kit unfortunately even though Im already supercharger the procharger was looking like my next move centrifigal supercharger>Roots!

idk if they still are .. HOWEVER really theres nothing i cant help you with building cept the bracket.

well i mean i was just wondering like cause the procharger im looking to do is just the belt driven turbo i just dont know how ii would do it and my buddy is a machinest so he could always make me a bracket. when i looked it up on youtube the dude had the lsj motor just like mine

no no no...not you. the guy who didn't know what a procharger was.
I'm not a centri fan myself. I like a nice flat torque curve. twin screw is the way to go imo

ummm wut lol apparently i'm going to need to post a pic of my dyno.. lol


the right side is trq and the red line is trq.. over 190 wtrq from like 3800-7k and it peaks at 209

yup i have the blower off of that guys car.. and will hopefully be getting that bracket to cure some of my issues

This is what I mean...nearly all available torque before 2500 and stays fairly level all the way to redline. doesn't slowly build like yours. Yeah it makes it harder to control but...eh. just a personal preference.

my torque doesn't slowly build the difference between 3800 and peak trq is like 15 wtrq lol from 2500 hundred to 3800 it goes from 140 to 190 something and that was with a rough tune on there ...as shown by the torque curve flattening slightly

and plus your comparing a v8 to a i4 lol which has substantially more low end torque then our cars NA
