Never got it. I ended up switching to a Vortech and he was having belt wrap issues with that so it is now the Procharger.

I think the only difficulty would be getting a pulley to match the shaft.

Well if it's mounted like the one in that vid he's got some hacking to do if it's going to fit.

A centrifugal supercharger is basically a belt driven turbo. Depending on what you want to do with the car, it can be a win-win. You get the compressor efficiency of a turbo without the hassle of oil/cooling lines. But since it's on a pulley, you can only control boost by changing diameter, afaik.

It's a pretty cool idea for an LSJ. As mentioned, the kits out there for v8 platforms are some of the quickest and hassle free ways to bolt on horsepower.

This should net some great results, but I think will be more expensive to some people. That said for price, power, and Effiency I would still go for a turbo swap.

Ditching the AC unit and mounting it in that location?

My buddy set one up on his 3400 Cav back in the day...they work well, he put down ~400whp on that setup.

Pretty simple if you don't mind ditching the AC unit.

Should be cool to see tho
