You should only be seeing around 15-16, I believe. Regardless, it should not be 17 lbs.

Well, the intercooler on the LSJ, is a liquid one as you know, so the only way it might help give you more boost is if it was dropping the temp a significant amount to actually help make a denser charge. Since it is only liquid to air, it probably isnt doing this, especially not enough to see another 1-2 lbs of boost.

You could check using a mechanical gauge, but, that will mess with you more, mostly because it WILL read lower numbers than the stock digital one, about 1-2 lbs. So, you would think again that the stock one is off.

The Interceptor will show you the same as what that stock one is showing. The only way it wouldn't is if the gauge itself was broken or not calibrated, which is unlikely.

so maybe its possiable when its colder out that a denser charge could add a half pound or so, so maybe my guage isn't off

78* is not cool by any means. Your gauge is off most likely

When I said colder, I mean, in the low 40*s. Lol, 78 is a good temperature, but not one to cause added boost.

no your iat2's rocket after 3rd gear and u trap a lower speed and worse time consideably different just by looking at ur 1/8 and 1/4 my 1/8 and 1/4 were 9.2 and 14.1 @101 now with the 2.9 they are 9.2 and 14.2 @99i had regular 3.06 pulley then swapped to 2.9 but i will swap back to 3.0 practically stg 3 pulley.

3.0 pulley with header and 3in down pipe with no cat i ran 15psi before a tune (way lean), but after u get tuned it just depends on who tunes ur car, after my tune I am running 13 and 14 max because my duty cycle is at 91% so the tuner turned my boosted down until I get bigger injectors.

it also depends on your supporting mods. open things up and youll see less boost... ive got a ported blower and a huge intake so i will see less boost when i get on it... when it was stock i saw 15psi on my 3inch
