tune was 23* timing and a 12.4 afr on 93 pump gas

the car was fine, i don't beat on the car much. It did see the track once that year for like 7 runs and was fine.

thats rich though? you could get more power out of it if you leaned it out couldn;t you?

haha lower the number the more rich. That is pretty damn lean for a boosted car

you could not pinch much more out of it with out supporting mods

lol, 12.4 afr is a pretty damn good afr. any leaner go boom! and any richer you probably would just lose power.

11.5~11.8 is safe but good for power to, 12.4 is pushing it. you don't make anything after that

ok i was confused. I thought lower the number the leaner. when I dynoed my car is was running at 10 lol. pretty rich but it's factory stock tuned. I am gonna go aftermarket injectors, aftermarket pulley, and tune time tune I think. Any advice for a powerful tune but a safe don;t blow up my engine tune?

the tuner should take care of it, 11.5 afr is fine and 16 * timing is cool to. matt knows what he is doing and will take care of you don't worry

on the edge. that much timing and that lean was pretty crazy with no cooling mods.

I don't even run that lean and I have cooling mods.

how cold does it get around you? weather can mess with your afr and can make you run leaner in the cooler months

GET COOLING MODS! lol. Seriously, pick up a heat exchanger and you should be fine. It'll allow for some extra timing advance which will help out with power of course.

you can get a dual pass endplate for the intercooler.
