Question Question about Hahn kits

So i was looking through the hahn website and saw that there are different level kits you can buy for the turbo conversion and almost everyone goes with the level 5 cause its a complete kit but I find that its a steep purchase so is it possible to just buy the level 1 kit which only has the turbocharger, turbo oil solution and the direct mount turbo manifold. my big question is will the car still be safe and fast by just putting that kit in there and then eventually building it up as i go ?

the stage kits are for customizability. the lower the stage kit, the more parts you'll have to order on your own.

level one kit maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay work(sorry, i'm a litt etipsy to the info may be squed a little bit. but you'll have to somehow use the blower as part of your intake minfold(ghettooooo) by taking out the blades, getting rid of the pulley side with a blockoff plate. and even then, you'll see minimum power. you'll also need to fab up your own piping, intake, exhaust, bov, couplers, etc.

stage 2 will give you the intake and downpipe.

stage 3 will include the intake, intercooler, piping, intake, and downpipe

stage 4 is a better intake, plus the intake manifold, and better bov

stage 5 is every single part you need to make a badass street car

No, you cannot just run the stage 1... You need the piping to route from the turbo to the intercooler / manifold, larger injectors, Tune, A few parts from GM (for the belt system)... You dont NEED a bov, but it is highly recommended...

The difference in 4 and 5 is injectors and a tune... If you can get someone to tune you, and already have 60# injectors or larger, you dont need 5... but for only 100 or so more dollars, i had no problems buying it...

Some people like to do different things than hahn, and have their own way of doing them... So the level of kit just basically gives more options to the customer, depending on how they wanna go about piecing together the other parts...

Get used to having your hopes and dreams shot down by a price tag.

I hate all these threads that wish and hope someone gives them some magical good news sprinkled with fairy dust. You can always tell the threads where the OP knew the answer before he even posted.
