this summer im thinking about going with zzp midlength header/dp combo with 1.75 stainless steel with no cat stainless steel 3inch dp with 2.5 exit to bolt stock exhaust im just wondering if i will lose boost or not? also with current mods what hp gain do u guys think i will get from this combo?

i heard catless can get raspy...and you dont gain that much more hp going catless. Not sure about boost, but remember boost is not power

 

i know its not power i just love the feeling when it puts me in my seat i forsure going catless

 

If you show less boost pressure on your gauge after exhaust, trust me, you will be feeling more power than before. You will be flowing more air

 

so did u get my pm about my check engine light 2nd one also and think zzp is my best choice for price

you absolutely will see less boost. boost is a measure of restriction in simple terms. lose restriction, lose boost. doesn't mean you're going to make less poewr, and doesn't mean it won't put you in your seat. just means you're making more power more efficiently.

i put on a pacesetter header and 3 inch downpipe with 2.5 exit(bolts onto my stock exhaust) i lost 2 lbs of boost. kept all the power though. this exhaust will do wonders for freeing up power.
