Well my car didnt come factory supercharged so my guess would be you have to connect the 2 inlet and outlet hoses with a plastic T. possibly connect the inlet on one to the inlet on the other one and hook a third hose from the T running to the intake manifold. do the same for the outlet routing the pump in there somewhere along the way. idk if its going to over work the ic pump but thats my thought.

bypass and ditch the factory one. if you want more cooling, get a dual pass and their option b kit

I used the stock ic and the ott ic. Works just fine, I will be installing a dual pass setup this summer but will still keep both ic's

its not that its more restrictive. its that the factory one gets no air flow. and so the coolant going through it isn't going to be cooled as fast and as much as the one up front. i htink fast98 actually showed slightly cooler temps with just the additional one and no factory one

I thought the IAT 2's climb more with the stock H/E getting taken out because when sitting in traffic or at a light the fans cant pull air thru the after market one?

temps are gonna climb with ANY car sitting in traffic, just that price we pay for inventing the combustion engine.

Yah but not as high if there was a stock H/E running fluid threw it. Some air running across it is going to cool better than no air with the after market one. This is thinking out loud.

i have the large CX Racing H/E i bypassed my stock H/E and haven't had an issue u see a slight climb in IAT's if u ahve to sit in track...so its all on what u want and what driving u do if ya do alot of interstate or anything just bypass but if u do ALOT of city stop and go bullshit just use both

I would say the track would be a big one. You do a full pull, then go sit for 5-10 minutes, then race again soaked...

or just think out side the box and make something that never allows your aits to go 10-20 above ambient whether the car is running or not

Search Option B, and ull see what it is. Run both heat exchangers. The restriction is in the laminovas not the heat exchangers.

no one ever said the h/e were resticting anything..
and if anything in the system is restrictive, its the intake manifold, not the laminovas..

Option B basically replaces your filler neck with a larger resevoir that is mounted on the pass. side strut tower.

I would run both h/e's. If you pull the stock one the gap will cause a low pressure drop in front of the radiator and not cool properly. Both h/e's, dual pass, option b and a/c condenser removal are the way to go if you want to run cool.

I have both on including the OTTP like yourself my IAT2's where high at first as i needed a new pump.....I def need dual pass given my mods but both works fine for me....after a 3rd gear run temps get up to 180 but quickly drop back down again..............ALSO just to let you know you are going to have to Drimmel the inside of your bumper down where the H/E will seat otherwise the bumper will not go on right.

Did you upgrade your ic pump or just replace with the same unit?
