Quick LSJ Question...

Hey guys, is there a difference between aftermarket intakes on cobalt ss/sc's and ion redlines?

My buddy is looking for a cheap intake for his Redline and i know that there are cheap ebay ones for the SS but could not find any for the Redline. I just want to make sure they are the same before he buys one..

yeah i believe the redlines intake doesn't go all the way into the fender like the ss/sc's.

the redline intake goes straight down off the throttle body, almost touches the frame, turns, goes into the fender then straight up. its a weird setup.

Ok thx for you help guys.

Does any one know of a cheap ebay intake for the Redlines?

My buddy pretty much just wants it for the whine so he isint going to spend $250 on an intake.

there isnt such a thing on the ion, at least not one i know of. their airbox is completly different.

I was just about to say that cause i knew the stock intake was diff but i wasnt sure if aftermarket was the same or not.

Really? My Friend did it to his? I'm not sure HOW, but he i'm pretty sure it's a plausible mod.
