if your dealership tells you that your warranty is voided because your valve cover is a different cover...i think you officially have the right to sue the pants off them.

The only way it could void your warrenty is if you remove the valve cover and while its off getting powdercoated you leave the hood up with no protection over the head and valves and it rains and happens to get a nice amoutn of water in the oil and something fails because of it. As long as you think through every step and don't do anything stupif you'll have no problems. Make sure to cover it up real good so nothing gets inside while its off.
or if you pinch the gasket and it starts leaking , a new gasket would be on you to fix it

Thanks for the info my car will be parked in the shop where i am geting my rims valve cover and what ever else i can think of to powercoat
