Is it possible to have a restricter pill on our cars? kinda like the evo's, that when your foot in on the clutch it only lets you rev it up to 5grand and when you go to luanch it slowly clamps on to the clutch, but when you have your foot off the clutch you can redline. would this be a good idea to fab up?

 

souns like a good idea to me but i havent heard of anyone doing it on a cobalt yet.

 

I was talking to my friend who has an MR. He can change it to whatever rpm he wants. He sets it at 5000 I think. He told me that there's a shop around me that could do this to pretty much any car. I didn't belive him because wouldn't you have to have access to the computer in order to do something like that?

The only access we have is HPTuners software and you won't find an import car shop carrying one of those around for a domestic car
