Thats a common code to get when you're running Seimens 60# injectors. They have trouble flowing correctly at idle.

Do you have a CEL or is the code just stored in the ecm?

If its just a one time fault, id just clear it.
If it keeps comming back, id clean and regap your plugs.

I have heard this as well. The guy who tuned me reccomended that I use copper core plugs, due to the platnim plugs falling apart inside the cylinder.

A repetative random misfire(P0300) code is not a common thing. It should be looked at and delt with accordingly.

I got it today when driving. Ive gotten it a few times but rarely. I think its ME that is causeing it. I need a driver mod. I'm not 100% proficient at my Clutch/Gas timing, and if I almost stall the engine sometimes it causes my pcm to throw P0300

Play with the gaps. What kind of plugs did you put in.

Coppers are better for us. Whats your mods? Keeping going down in gap. Try 32.

Also check for any intake or exhaust leaks. Thats why it's important to use new gaskets

I got a 2.2 SCed G5. With injen intake, aem dryflo. Ported and polished m62. Stock pulley, and 42.5lb injectors.
And yeah but autozone didn't carry coppers.

Yeah well I was told I could run my stocks till I got the money but they went out the next day and needed my car. So bought those. Ordered them already though.

And yeah. But he just sent me the base tune and went on vacAtion or something. So running really rich right now. He won't be back till feb 1st.

Yeah I know. He sends them a lil rich to be safe then leans them out. I know I'm waiting on him to get back too.

It could be in the tune too, but you really need to go over you whole setup and check and then double check again. Make sure you used new gaskets on everything. Check your o2 sensors for being lazy. He can only do so much on his end. But let him know about it and see what his advice is. Be very precise on you setup

I know. I am gonna check everything again tomorrow morning. And gaskets r new cept one but I should be getting that one soon. And yeah I know. Can't wait for him to get back though.

So it running really rich and ungapping my plugs is because of the richness right. ? And might be a leak?

It's running rich cause the tune is set up that way for now. Playing with the gap will help with detonation and misfires. Yes possible leak

Closing the gap at idle where there is minimal load isnt likely to help a miss.. but... good luck!
