Rattling sound from back of motor help

I've notice a strange noise from back of motor when I'm idling..Its pretty loud..Any ideas what it could be?? Could it be heat shield?? Its annoying and kind of embarrassing

Sounds something like that..Its not like a pinging sound or anything.. It only does it a few times a week

Mine does this, I think it's the timing chain tensioner, but I haven't had the time to replace it yet.

timing chain tensioner. the early models were defective. you can buy the new one for $40.00

take off the heat shield just to make sure. i think it's only 1 bolt?
