That's the prototype one for eDubs I think. He relocated it / removed it. The one they sent me had one in the factory location. The only 1 piece 3 inch that actually fits (JBP F%CK*NG !D!@T$) - I have a gap between the intake and the ECU, as well as the intake and the front fender bar thing.

To stop it from moving, I first put some rubber guard around the fender hole, then you need industrial sized zip tie (like 1/2" wide stuff) and zip it to the firewall.

A good non 3" that fits perfect and doesn't move is the K&N. I bought one, unopened, as a backup. Still in box, mostly cause the RD fabs one rocks so hard.

RDfabs didn't want to pay for vendor status for the site, so you won't see them or their stuff on here. But they are the best fabricators for the Cobalt I have ever seen, matched only by maybe CIA. Period.

And yes, it does move around if not secured to the firewall. It can rub on the fender liner. It needs to be secured.

I have the prototype, and fitment is good! The vac line is gone, replaced with a breather on the other end.The vac line is standard on all built unless person requests it off.

Where? It fits the best I've seen, it just moves. 2 different things. The fact that it can move around is a testament to it's fitment - there is room!
