To the O.P., I'm not sure if anyone else has the intake to be honest. If you want someone to verify they do good work, go to j-body.org. There are years of posts praising these guys for the work they've done for sunfires and cavaliers.
As far as what to do for an intake goes, sscobaltscZ06 is right in the fact that the airbox mod works well and is a great cheap upgrade for a lightly/moderately modified SS/SC. If you want to go big at some point and run a smaller pulley, full exhaust and other goodies, you might want to look into something that flows better than the stock platic tubing...
So there are no problems wit this intake or fender liner? Will i be able to put it in easily without scratchin it? I want this intake but 280 is way too much. I guess il have to do the airbox mod.

With two people the install is extremely easy. The only clearance issue is one bolt that's only in the engine bay to hold a clip that holds a wire. Remove the bolt and there are no clearance issues at all. No buldging of my fender well...
Like I said, do what suits your budget and your plans for you car. If you're going to go big in the future, the airbox mod may not be the best for performance, but it will work. If you want to go real big (i.e. Turbo) then it's pointless to buy anything.

go injen i got mine 2 days after i got my car and now it has 23,000 on it and nothing wrong i got a 2 gen intake from them so i get no hood rub or anything i love it all injen needs to do now is go with aem with that dry flow filtter
If i get an intake its gonna be a three inch one. One more question for ya edubs. How loud is the whine? I hope its as loud as the fujita. The only thing holdin me back is the price. I paid 220 shipped for my fujita and i got a lot more stuff than jus an intake. If the rd fabs intake was 200 shipped i would definitely get it and i bet a lot more people would too. 280 is WAY too much for tubing and a filter. If anybodys thinkin bout gettin an intake its not worth any trouble. A filter is the best
I've never heard a Fujita, but I know mine is loud as ****. As far as price, I don't see where you get $280 from?

$215 with a generic filter and $240 with a K&N.
I prefer to buy American made products and these guys are my friends, so I bought from them. I knew it would be top notch quality and it is. It's up to you if you want to pay a little bit more for an intake made of full 304 Stainless Steel. I am completely happy with my purchase and don't regret it one bit. If you want to hear what it sounds like, I'll try to find a video after lunch. I have to find one before I put my cams in because that just made it louder...

You actually paid for that? Didnt they use your car to make it? The price you listed is not including shipping which is forty dollars. That is way too much to ship a lil box. I paid twenty five dollars to ship my headlights.
Next time I'll break out the crayons and spell it out for you!
Yeah, my car was used for the fabrication. I got a break on pricing, practically free powdercoating and free install. I'd say I made out on the deal...

And how are you contributing to this thread?
PM me if you have a problem. If not, stay on topic.
hey dubs... you should try and see if they would be willing to do a group purchase cause im sure theres a lot of people thinking about buying one. I know im gonna probably buy one in the middle of june if i got enough money left over after I buy my exhaust
My car is going into their shop this weekend for a custom header/dp hopefully. I'll talk to them about it. Before they can do a group buy, they have to become a vendor on this site. I'll shoot them this link through e-mail; though, to let them see the interest...

kthxbye
