RDFabs 3-inch Intake

I think this is the correct section where I put this in. (if not, I'm sure it will be moved to the appropriate section )

So, I wanted a three inch intake for my car and I wanted to go with something a little different. So, for $255.00 shipped I got the RD Fabrications 1 piece intake.

Review: It looks great under the hood, love it to death. If you're looking for a little whine when you give the throttle a little gas though, it won't happen. You have to floor it and get it up a bit, but when you hear it, it whines hardcore.

I've noticed a good response from my car, though not a huge difference, some, and when I get on it, it feels awesome. Though the day after I put the bad boy on a nice little CEL (most likely a lean code), came on and won't go away, so I'll have to get a tune for it. Yes I tried disconnecting the battery, but that only worked for a short time, and the cel came back. She doesn't like all the air I'm shoving into her. Fitment was very tight and it took a while as it was hard maneuvering it about and getting it past the brake lines and all that as well, but I expected it. But they gave enough rubber lining to protect the intake. It is a one piece with generic filter.

Shipping took quite the while though. Took a little over a month for them to make it and for it to be put in my hands. But they make each one of them separately so I can understand that. just totally sucked waiting for it. Overall, for a 255.00 3 inch, 1 piece intake, I'm satisfied.

Whiiiiine! Purty, but go to autozone I'm curious what the code is. Mine goes off after about three startups when I throw the lean code, your's should have gone off already. Do it!

did you just tell them to not put in the connection for the PCV or does it just not come with one anyway?

They can put one on if you request it...

It throws a P0171 bank 1 lean code cause it's much larger than stock. Happens to a lot of people, but they can tune it out by either raising their Hz limit on their MAF or just retuning the car altogether...

It's not a dangerous lean code, though.
