im still a newbie at this manual thing and i was wondering... at a red light should u be in first with the clutch in or should i be in neutral?????

 

Neutral, you can wear out your clutch pedal by keeping it pressed in for long periods of time. Just pay attention to the other light and put it in first as it goes yellow.

 

Start in 3rd, its what all the cool kids are doing these days

i don't know about that. if the clutch is all the way in it shouldn't be engaged at all. but if you let it out a bit too far you will start wearing it down without really knowing it.

then again, i dont know everything.

You know our cars have enough torque to get them rolling from
a stop in 5th gear right?

I do it all the time, and if I'm feeling bad ass, I give her hell and chirp
the tires.

 

5th gear lmao i would say 6th or reverse but i would sound retarded. but it looks like i already said it

 

as long as your foot is pressed all the way to the floor. but your foot tends to kinda let up a bit by itself so it is better to just throw it in neutral

 

grow some damn muscle in your leg and press the clutch to the floor. haha
