Redline!

My rpms wont let me red line.. Starts bogging right before red.. whats goin on? is there a sensor?

do you have a stage 2 kit on the car??? if not, the rev limiter is 6500rpm, with stage 2 its 7000rpm. iirc the red starts at 6500, the pcm wont let the motor go that high stock.

No its all stock. Im assuming the rev limiter is stopping it, thanks. redlining around 65.

btw newer stage two gm reflash rev limiter is 6500 rpm, mine was, cause everyone who got a 7k redline was like cool my car is a racecar and would drive around the city at 6900 rpms and there lsj would go boom

I've done it more than once on accident. Could it cause damage to the car if hit the limiter?
