stage 2 comes with a computer reflash that puts the redline at 7000rpm...you better get it back to the dealer or whoever installed it...

where did you get the kit from? GM? they have to install the injectors, install the pulley and hub on the S/C, and then reflashed the PCM to calibrate for the injectors and pulley and to up your redline to 7K. I'm really starting to get sick of posts like this...GM needs to tighten up...THEY SHOULD KNOW THIS ****!!!!

i bought the kit at CED and took it to a local dealorship (Jim Clark), i might have to have a word with them about the reflash

also, without the reflash does this effect the output of the pully/injectors??

lol damn. the pully should make you boost more...what are you boosting? as for the injectors, not sure, but they are probably still running on the stock tune which is for 34lbs...the stage 2 is 42lbs

called them back, and am having it done wednesday, but i am truely dissappointed, i could have easily messed something up without the reflash especially since i took it took to the track

this would also explain my CEL that has been on for "running too rich" the computer hasn't been calibrated for the higher injectors,

so does anyone know if this effects my times??? because i have pretty dissappointing times at the track (15.1) or is this just a result of poor driving and bad traction???

you SHOULD see sub-15second times...somewhere in the mid 14's id say. depends on the air up there, the ambient temp outside, and your driving ablility

well the track was pretty crappy, prepped poorly, and the temp was 86-90, but i felt like on my good runs i shoulda been going faster than a 15.1

At least the engine rebuild would be covered by the warranty.

You will be ok you are just running rich. I highly doubt you would blow the motor.

your paper with the number wont help him, they each have their own authorization code that has to be called in to GM.

Hey congrats bro. Glad to see it's almost done. It's going to be like a whole new car when you drive her off the lot.
