In relation to air box mod

I just recieved my K&N drop in filter part#e0777,and my ? is if i want to do the air box mod what would i have to do,just replace filter and drill holes in the cover?

The air box mod's that are shown wont work with the E0777 because there isn't a lip on the 777 to clamp to . The e-0777 is a direct replacment filter so its a push on . The one K&N they used for the mod is E-1009.

get an AEM dryflow.

Fits better, No reoiling, No CEL due to oil on the MAF, no RPM problems due to oil on the MAF.
