Exclamation removing supercharger

i read up on the "How to" put the ZZP pulley puller system on helped out a lot with removing the supercharger but it lead to a few questions.

-i have stage 2 with those STUPID GM lock bolts...anyone have a pic of the tool GM gives you to take them off..all i have is a small screwdriver head looking peace they gave me back that works similar to a socket is that this tool i am looking for?

- if i am stuck taking off my S/C and that tool i just mentioned is not the correct one i realize i must drill the bolts is putting the S/C back on difficult with TQ specs and the gaskets? will i have to get a new one?

thanks in advance!

S/C gasket is re-usable, the blower is easy to remove and install.

thats weird bro, i have never heard of locking threads on the supercharger, are u talking about on the pulley or the bolts holding the supercharger on the intake manifold?

Wow. Those blue bolts are the GM Stage 2 bolts.

The socket that looks like a twisted phillips head is the tool to get them off.

The socket they gve you (looks like a torx head) is what you need to remove the four pulley bolts. The supercharger is very easy to remove.....4 bolts, a bracket, some connectors, and intake removal and it is ready to remove.
