Replace Stock H/E with Cobra H/E? Issues?

Hey everyone,

2006 Cobalt SS/SC

I recently hit a Raccoon and it knocked my Stock H/E into the frame kinking one pipe halfway closed. I have a Cobra H/E laying around. Can I replace the Stock H/E with just the Cobra H/E and mount it in the front of everything and be ok cooling wise? It isnt used for racing, just Daily Driving and occasionally flooring it in the rural areas.

Thanks

This. If you have a way to log the car then you could find out if you need a stock heat exchanger.

as long as your tune is stock or at least pulls a decent amount of timing at high iat temps, you really dont need to worry about it.

id bet that half of the lsjs on the road dont have a running intercooler pump.
