Rev it up stage 1 help

Well i got the stage one from revitup yesterday, so i installed the pulley and idler and was going to install the tuner box today after work. On the way to work today i got on it for like two seconds just to see that it was boosting the way it should and it did. After work today i installed the tunerbox and there was a white wire that wasnt in the diagram, anyway now my car doesnt go into boost at all and everything is hooked up the way it should be. pls any suggestions on what it could be?

My car does exactly the same thing. Before the stage one kit from rev it up I had the 3.2 pulley and was boosting around 13.5 and when I put the stage one on I'm only seeing 12 @ most.

Leave a message and send him a pm. Give him a little time I'm sure he will get back to you. He was just online about a 1/2 hour ago. Go to his website and get all three #'s and leave a message on all three. I emailed him the other day and he called me the next morning. Great customer sevice.

I have seen one guy with the former PSI-Fi kit that this kind of problem, I think the piggyback made the stock electrical boost gauge not fonction properly. Does your car feel like it pull strong or not ?

once again the stock boost gauge is pcm limited. the computer will not let the gauge go pass 12 psi. as for the 0 boost, sounds like something is wron with your wiring. is the car throwing an engine power reduced?

the white wire on the tuner box is for stages to come that does not connect to anything yet

check the vacum lines on the boost sylenoid

Here are some simple facts :

1 : The PCM simply reads the voltage given by the MAP sensor, whatever it's minus 8 or + 20 PSI in the manifold. It's limited to 5V, certainly not 12 PSI. There has been many people (including myself) who ran between 15 and 18 PSI on the totally stock electrical boost gauge. There are some video on this forum to prove it.

I am currently running 22 PSI of boost, read on the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge, which is simply plugged in into the OBD port. No electrical wires modded or tapped into.

Once again, I think there is a minor issue with the piggyback (not the piggyback itself, but the way it's wired or programmed) on the kit you sell. At least there was one minor issue on the former PSI-FI kit, like I have myself whitnessed once.

my car is very slow right now it doesnt even spin at the top of first it definitly is reading the right psi. like i said it worked fine in the morning before i did the piggyback. im going to re look over the wires that i soldered but i am almost positive i did nothing wrong. it does have a code but it always had one cause of the k and n intake.

Hey jmc007, what kind of power are you putting out? Any problems with that small a pulley?

Roughly 24% more WHP and 24% more WTQ than stock, untuned for now with a shitty timing and a not optimised air fuel in the midrange RPM's.

It just the way that they tuned the car. Map clamping is a popular way to tune srt 4's running higher than stook boost levels. It is a common practice to keep the stock computer from freaking out above stock boost levels.

It's not an issue with the kit, it is an issue with the way GM decided to operate the boost gauge off of the pcm.
Interesting, but not on the safest side ...

post up some picks of the line you disconnected in order to make the gauge work right, im only reading ten psi also. ps i got the sc boosting again, there was a slight misprint on the wiring diagram but it was my fault for not noticing it. guess i was just to excited to get it hooked up.

My stock gauge was reading 15 psi at the top of my rmp range, but now with my aeroforce gauge I see 15 psi alot sooner. The stock gauge was not accurate with the stage 1 kit and did not work for me thats why a scangauge is a must for any upgrade. It looks a hell of a lot better too!

I had similiar issues with the wiring. PCM com1 had a pink/black wire to tap into, but it was at postition 11 instead of 13. I think 13 was a grey wire but the pink/black is the one you need to tap into for power.

I thought the 2.7" pully would be at 18psi, but the 2.85" I don't know...If you hit 18osi let me know!
