I'd say between 15-20 would be your best bet to stay safe depending on turbo and tune

I would think it would be better to have a power goal rather than a boost goal. You don't necessarily need that much boost to make big power.

well thats safe range, you can push more. around 450 whp before **** starts to break. most notably the transmission. its all how you drive it and how your tune is. Theres so many variables that its hard to give you a true answer without knowing more info from your end.

Ok yeah I was doing some research and things like that about how the stock motor runs into trouble around 450whp. My goal is to be between 400-430whp after the swap, just trying to gather ideas on how to reach that.

Between 400-430 I would recommend S252et Turbo from ZZP, and a KY stage 3 clutch. new injectors, possibly new tranny mounts/engine mounts and make sure your tune is good.

the s252et can hit that with a quicker spool.

Yes I live in kc, we have a couple e85 stations, I'm lookin to do that down the line aswell, just gotta do more personal research. And as for motor and tranny mounts, how much do those run off the top of your head? And I have a buddy who tunes a lot of imports, I was gonna have him do an aggressive tune for it.

You might want to get someone one here who has some knowledge on these platforms to tune you. Area47 is somewhere in your area. Dont know if he is still tuning cobalts.

Ok thanks I appreciate it. Zzp told me my 60# would be fine. Or should I just get 80#?

go 80's if you want E85 imo. 60's are hard to tune for, but as Startingline said I would get someone who knows your platform or you will be driving around with a busted ass motor.
