man i dont know why you think they suck dick, they treated me rite and did stage 2 on my car... it came out fine. they are one of the gm performance providers...they can always get a gmpp part. But i know it was like $675 or something for stage 2 and it was $180 in labor, they only charge 2 hours. Give them a call or you can even go there and talk to dave and chris.... chris has a cobalt wit stage 2. and he's the only tech there that meses with cobalt ss/sc.

Bob Maguire Chevy installed my stage 2 with no problems and charged me accordingly for the labor. They did a great job and I would recommend them to anyone to get their stage kit installed. My local dealers (3 of them) had no idea what I was talking about when I asked them about stage kits, but Bob Maguire did and were very helpful.

I don't know how the Chevy dealers are in the city or by you, but the ones around me had no idea about the kits so I was kinda forced to go to Maguire...and it worked at well.

There is more to the story than you think.

I'll give anyone the benefit of the doubt once, and I have a few minutes. If you don't mind sharing the story I don't mind listening. You're a GM tech/mech right? Do aftermarket break pads void the warranty?

Aftermarket pads could cause problems that would not be covered; such as noise, wear or pulsation, basically anything that the pads have caused. Your warranty for the car or stock brake system would not be effected.
Well, as far as the story; Yes, we denied warranty of the cluch (was slipping very bad). A/C was also inop. We found that all 4 tires were worn to the wear indicators (they were rotated once). The vehicle had 12,892 miles on it at that time. That is pretty quick to wear out 4 tires. Upon further inspection it was found the vehicle was in an accident, hence the reason the A/C was inop, (condensor was damaged). Also, body panels were replaced and repaired to a sub professional level, these signs indicated abuse in our eyes. We spoke to them about our findings and were informed that the vehicle was in an accident and that they had reciently purchased the car from someone or from some Used Car dealer. We advised them to seek repairs from the selling party.
We had felt bad for the fact that they had purchased a car that was neglected and abused, along with being damaged. We came to the desision to not charge for "Check-Out", in which we resieved no payment from anyone. (Our Techs work on a flat rate basis, so time is money).
Some investigation was done and found the vehicle was issued a "Salvaged Title" by the Federal Goverment and a "Warranty Block" was issued by GM at an earlier date. For what reasons, unknown.
So, Maguire is an "Awful" place to do buisness, because of this?
