Is SC as LOUD with Air Box Mod

So I did the air box mod and love how it sounds! but i was wondering if it is louder with a actual CAI? Anyone went from a Air Box mod to a CAI?

The Loudest it will ever be its if you have the Fujita. I have reved next to may Injen and KN intakes and mines had always been the loudest by FAR.
here is a vid of my car with the Fujita and a 2.8" pulley.

Cel problems will be with most intakes. I havent gotten a cell in about 7 months. Now about the fitment, its not the easiest to install. You need small hands and you gotta be ready to get pissed at your car. Possibly hit it of anger. lol. But it can be done. Its deffinetly possible. I DID IT, you can do it.

I don't know the code but it equates to the engine running lean. Our MAFs are WAY too sensitive.

P0133, and P0103 I believe are the ones the intake throws.

the one for the cat is the P0402.

I went from the airbox mod to an Injen intake and the metal tube makes it louder. If you get your PCM flashed to the latest revision you should not get any lean CEL's with an intake. Your dealer will flash to the latest revision for free provided your car is under warranty.

honestly i think it would be a total waste of money to get an aem intake if using the air box mod.. the ae m intake connects to the existing intake and is about 6 in worth of tubing, no offense but a cai wont do anything significant hp gains on the ss/sc other than making the supercharger louder. compared from the air box to aem, there really is no difference

THE ONLY reason id get a cai would be a injen just because of the chrome factor it gives the engine bay, the air box mod will do the same thing as all other intake besides making it the slightest louder.. who wants to pay 250+ jsut to make the sc whine a fraction louder. jsut put that money towards a stage kit then youll here that baby start whining

The AEM is palced on the existing piping. It shouldn't throw a CEL.

x2 about the waist of time. I'm going with the 3" JBP intake, it is claimed to have no CEL after a few days.
