Bottom line, just don't be stupid and you'll be okay. Don't let it stall out, but you should only need a little gas to keep it running even if you submerge it in the seafoam.

no no no, pour it into your oil before you change it. then drive it around for a bit ( maybe 10 min) then change your oil after it cools down.
i usually pour half in my gas tank and half into the vac line.
if i was you though i would put 1/3 into the gas tank, 1/3 into my oil, and 1/3 into the vac line.

hatrickstu has a how-to on here about seafoaming a ss/sc. He also put a link to his youtube vid on there too. Doesn't appear to damage anything, although I imagine if you fill up your tank with premium gas and use full synthetic oil, not much will come out (if anything).

I wouldn't be. I used to work for a couple of garages. Most gas stations' premium gas have to meet certain ratings, and they have to have a minimal amount of detergent to keep your engine clean. Most places exceed that standard, but every now and again you'll have a station that just does the bare minimum. I know Chevron, Shell, and Texaco exceed this standard. But in the end, the only for sure way is to just pop the head off and take a look at your valves from there.
