shaved head... anyone?

hey ive been thinkin about pullin the head off to send it out to get a p&p. and ive been thinkin about getting it shaved to increase c/r. but im wonderin y im realy not finding any info on it? has anyone done it? is there a prob that i dont know about? it may be a stupid question just wonderin

You don't want to shave the head to gain compression. That's not a good idea. You get the head shaved only to clean up the imperfections and prevent any leaks or anything. If you want to increase compression ratio, you need to do a piston swap.
