Anyone know how to install a shift light? I'm not familiar with computer controlled vehicles so I need to know which wire to tap to get the rpm readout. Any pictures would be helpful.

 

just find the tach signal wire off your coil. same as a old school small block car

Lol, searched first, but didn't see it, thanks though. I didn't know that they were still the same as the old school engines. I figured it'd all be controlled by the computer nowadays.

 

what kind of shift light do u have... i bought a raptor shift light and i tapped into a injector wire to get my RMP signal.. just becareful... cuz if ur not u have to take the car in and get a "cracked" injector wire fixed hahahah under warrenty!! good luck ifu have any questions about color of wire pm me and i will goto my car and take a look

 

I don't have one yet, but I was thinking about an Auto Meter or that MSD digital one. If I did have to splice what wire would I splice to?
